After much experimentation, the card and reader both work, but not TOGETHER. The reader works with other SDHC cards, and the SDHC card works with other readers. But I was unable to get them both to work with each other. I did not send anything back, because I can work around this issue. I sent BlueProton a message letting them know that they need to pre-test or sample-test some of these together. Since not everyone appears to be experiencing this, it is unclear exactly what the issue it.
Update two days later: The card reader stopped working a couple days later. You should also be aware that this reader allows you to push the SDHC card in both ways. The correct way goes in a little easier, but a proper design would not allow the wrong way at all. This card reader went into the trash (not worth the time to send back). Not a complete loss, I still have the 4G card. I bought a Dynex card reader from Best Buy - which so far works fine.

I received the combo SD 4GB and the USB 2.0 SHDC Card ready by mail on time. It's working wonderfully. The SD 4GB is for my new Canon SD 890IS camera and can handle around 3,500 pictures with the setup of 1600x1200 pixels. The card reader works very well, except one minor issue, the body of the reader case is a little wide, so you can't have two USB devices connected next to each other at the same time. It's a minor problem for me. Everything is working well for now, hope that the device and the SD card will last long.

Great product...just have to figure out how to fully use it! I'm a little dense sometimes with technology, but somehow I have to fill this thing with songs and put it in my Garmin navigation system...argh!

Works great and I like the covers to protect the ends. Small enough to fit into my pocket or laptop case. Will read SDHC. 4 gig and up.
